Summer Programs

Summer at TNCS
Summer is a time to grow at The New Community School. During the summer months, middle school students can take advantage of a Summer School Program with special classes that will help them improve their basic skills in reading, writing, mathematics, keyboarding or organizational/study skills.

In addition to classes for middle school students, The New Community School offers a Professional Institute for interested teachers, school administrators and parents. Courses offer adults a chance to learn what dyslexia is, how it manifests itself in and out of the classroom, and strategies to use to increase the dyslexic person's chance for success in school and life. Several scholarships are available to parents and teachers as a result of a gift from the Learning Disabilities Council. Please contact the school for details.
